 Phone Provisioning Instructions

Phone will require a previously activated 4G LTE SIM to be inserted during and after flash.

 

BP Tools 

  1. Uninstall any existing Motorola programs from computer (MotoCast, MotoHelper, etc anything Motorola)
  2. Download and install Motorola Generic drivers from our Driver Archive.
  3. Turn your phone off
  4. Hold (VOL DWN) + (VOL UP) + (PWR)
  5. Once you see a menu use (VOL DWN) to navigate to "BP TOOLS"
  6. Insert USB cable
  7. Press (VOL UP)
  8. Phone will boot into diag mode.
  9. Open Device Manager (USB Symbol)

     

     Pre Flash Setup

     

    If on Ice Cream Sandwich and Above (Android 4.0 and up)
    1. Ensure USB Debugging is Turned OFF (Menu, Settings, Developer Options, uncheck USB Debugging)
    2. Turn your phone OFF
    3. Once it is OFF, Hold (VOL DWN) + (VOL UP) + (PWR)
    4. Once you see a menu use (VOL DWN) to navigate to "BP TOOLS"
    5. Press (VOL UP) Then plug in the phone immediately after pressing (VOL UP)
    6. Phone will boot into BP TOOLS or DIAG Mode
    7. Allow the drivers to fully load before running detection

    If on GingerBread (Android 2.3)
    1. Swipe down Notification Bar and select USB Connection
    2. Set phone to PC Mode
    3. Enable USB Debugging
    4. Menu, Settings, Developer Options, Check USB Debugging
    5. Phone is now in correct mode to install drivers and continue with the provisioning process

     How to Resolve Data Connectivity Issues

    First, try an ESN change with Page plus: 
    1. Turn off MB810
    2. Get a non-lte Verizon phone and put it’s ESN on the account
    3. Dial *228 on the Verizon phone, then place a test call
    4. If the call goes through successfully, turn off the Verizon phone and change ESN back to MB810
    5. Turn on MB810, and test call then check data
    If that does not work, then:
    1. Factory reset MB810
    2. Take out SIM
    3. Flash phone without the SIM (DO NOT BYPASS ACTIVATION)
    4. Once flash is complete, turn off and turn back on the MB810
    5. Place a test call using emergency call feature
    6. Phone will say it needs SIM
    7. Replace SIM in the phone
    8. Turn phone on, complete activation steps
    9. Dial *228 and device should tell you a SIM card has updated your phone's roaming capabilites
    10. Make test call and check data

     

     Post-Provisioning
      After the flash is complete perform the following if Data has not started working try manually restarting the device
      • Dial ##7764726 and press Call
      • Enter SPC 000000 and select Verify (If this is a Revol flashed handset, enter 555555 for SPC)
      • Scroll down and select LTE Test Settings
      • Select Sim Type and set to 3G UICC Test
      • Back out to the Home Screen and Allow some time for Data Connection to Appear
      • Once it does, Dial *#*#4636#*#*
      • Select Phone Information
      • Select "Turn OFF Radio"
      • Change the Network Mode to CDMA Auto PRL and exit to Home Screen
      • Dial ##7764726 and press Call
      • Enter SPC 000000 and select Verify (If this is a Revol flashed handset, enter 555555 for SPC)
      • Select Option 6- Test Mode and Press Next twice
      • Change Network Mode to CDMA and EVDO and wait 15 seconds
      • Press Back icon on screen, then the Back arrow
      • Phone will reboot.
      • Once on Home screen allow up to 2 minutes for data to activate

       Device and Programming Instructions:

       

      • Dial ##7764726 and press Call
      • Enter SPC 000000 and select Verify (If this is a Revol flashed handset, enter 555555 for SPC)
      • Select User Activation
      • Touch in the MIN box, delete the existing information and enter your 10 digit MIN
      • Touch in the MDN box, delete the existing information and enter your 10 digit phone number without any dashes or spaces
      • Touch in the CDMA Sys ID and enter your SID (if not known, contact your carrier support)
      • Touch Done to save your information and return to User Activation menu
      • Press the Home Key to exit out of your programming
      • Phone will power cycle and programming is now complete
          Alternative Activation
        If the device is not functioning properly after a flash has completed, attempt to active with the Decimal form of the MEID (ex. 256XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) instead of the HEX "IMEI" (ex. 990000XXXXXXXX)
