Motorola XT875 Droid Bionic

 Pre-Provisioning

 

  • Note: Only 1X is guaranteed on the Page Plus network unless the phone is being activated as a New Activation. Update to Follow.
  • LTE SIM MUST BE INSERTED BEFORE FLASHING
  • Pull down Notification bar and select USB Connection
  • Set phone to PC Mode
  • Phone is now in correct mode to install drivers and continue with the provisioning process
  • If phone does not detect, perform the following:
  • Power down the handset
  • Connect USB Cable and allow usb to power on the device
  • If device does not power on automatically, power on the device after connected to the USB cable

 Pre-Provisioning for devices with Android OS 4.0.4
  • LTE SIM MUST BE INSERTED BEFORE FLASHING
  • Power OFF device
  • Hold both the Volume Up and Volume Down and turn the phone ON
  • A menu should appear, Use the Volume Down button to scroll to BP Tools at the Bottom
  • Use the Volume Up button to select BP Tools
  • Plug in device
  • Allow drivers to load
  • Run Detection

     Post-Provisioning
    • After the flash is complete perform the following if Data has not started working try manually restarting the device
    • Go to Menu> Settings> Wireless and Networks> Change Network Type to CDMA Only
    • If data is still unavailable perform the following:
    • Dial ##7764726 and press Call
    • Enter SPC 000000 and select Verify
    • Scroll down to LTE Settings (Should be the last option)
    • Select SIM Type and choose 3G test UICC
    • Then locate and press "Disable Class3 APN"
    • You should see a popup stating "2 rows of apn updated."
    • Now press the Home key and Data should kick on

       Alternate Post- Provisioning if Data is still not working

      • Powercycle the handset after the flash.
      • Dial *#*#4636#*#* and select Phone Information
      • Change CDMA (Auto) PRL to CDMA Only
      • Back out to the home screen
      • Dial ##7764726 and select Test Mode
      • Press Next twice
      • Change Network Type to CDMA
      • Back out to Home Screen and Phone will Restart
      • Dial *#*#4636#*#* and select Phone Information
      • Change CDMA to CDMA Auto PRL
      • Dial ##7764726 and select Test Mode
      • Press Next twice
      • Change Network Type to CDMA amd EVDO
      • Back out to Home Screen and Phone will Restart
      • Allow phone to Power Up and 3G Data should be available within 30 seconds
       Next, Try an ESN change with Page plus:

       

      1. Turn off Bionic
      2. Get a non-lte Verizon phone and put it’s ESN on the account
      3. Dial *228 on the Verizon phone, then place a test call
      4. If the call goes through successfully, turn off the Verizon phone
      5. Turn on Bionic, and test call then check data

       

      If that does not work, then:

       

      1. Factory reset  Bionic
      2. Take out SIM
      3. Flash phone without the SIM (DO NOT BYPASS ACTIVATION)
      4. Once flash is complete, turn off and turn back on the Bionic
      5. Place a test call using emergency call feature
      6. Phone will say it needs SIM
      7. Replace SIM in the phone
      8. Turn phone on, complete activation steps
      9. Make test call and check data

       

       Device and Programming Instructions:
      • Dial ##7764726 and press Call
      • Enter SPC 000000 (For Revol 555555) and select Verify
      • Select User Activation
      • Touch in the MIN box, delete the existing information and enter your 10 digit MIN
      • Touch in the MDN box, delete the existing information and enter your 10 digit phone number without any dashes or spaces
      • Touch in the CDMA Sys ID and enter your SID (if not known, contact your carrier support)
      • Touch Done to save your information and return to User Activation menu
      • Press the Home Key to exit out of your programming
      • Phone will power cycle and programming is now complete

       

       Alternative Activation
      • If the device is not functioning properly after a flash has completed, attempt to active with the Decimal form of the MEID (ex. 256XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) instead of the HEX "IMEI" (ex. 990000XXXXXXXX)
